"where have you been?" you ask.

Well, life got a little busy, as life often does! :)

May was a fun filled month!

First we celebrated Amanda Panda's bachelorette party with a trip to Port Aransas, TX. We rented a beach house and partied like it was 1999 (yeah, I just went there)! Ms. Panda's sisters hosted this weekend get away. They rented the house and planned all our meals. They did a fabulous job!

Sister Nancy made each girl a gift basket filled with lots of beach neccessaties! We received a sand castle bucket & shovel, flip flops, sun block, chap stick, a beach ball or ring, a shot glass tube and bubbles.

The drink of the weekend was a Lemon Floozie made by one of the bridesmaids. This drink included rum, mint, ice, lemonade, sparkling water and a splash of grendine. It was YUMMY! It was light and refreshing and just perfect for a weekend at the beach. 

The weather was PERFECT and the beach was awesome (for the state of Texas). I've already informed the Husband that we will be renting a beach house there in the future!  We took this long boardwalk to the beach over the sand dunes that were filled with rattlesnakes... we never did see one, not that we went looking for rattlesnakes in the sand dunes though. 

Friday evening the Sisters cooked dinner for us and we played drinking games and had lots of laughs! 

Saturday morning we broke open our goody buckets and hit the beach after yummy pancakes, bacon and mimosa's. We spent the whole day at the beach. The weather was perfect. 

Saturday night we hit up a local club and danced the night away. 

Next up for the month of May, The Panda's say "I DO"!! The weekend and wedding was beautiful. It took place on a ranch in the Texas hill country. It was perfect. The ranch had everything you could want. A swimming pool, a lake with a rope swing and trampoline. A zip line - that I tried out for the very first time in my life. I'm afraid of heights and after my first ride, I rode it 4 more times... it was amazing! :) There was just so much you could do. The Husband unfortunately got sick and spent the entire weekend in bed.

Come on June!

June started out with a mini vacation with a small group of friends. We rented a lake house a little north west of Austin for 4 days and just enjoyed the water and relaxed. AND the Husband wasn't sick this time around. :) Pictures coming soon. 

As for the rest of the month of June we have been getting some things done around the house... details coming soon!
